• The US Government announced nearly $2 billion to support American auto workers and convert facilities for electric vehicles: This initiative helps support the conversion of 11 shuttered or at-risk auto manufacturing and assembly facilities across eight states to ones that manufacture electric vehicles and their supply chain. (July 2024)
• Total energy investment worldwide is expected to exceed $3 trillion in 2024 for the first time: Around $2 trillion set to go toward clean technologies – including renewables, electric vehicles, nuclear power, grids, storage, low-emissions fuels and the remaining $1 trillion, is going to coal, gas and oil. (June 2024)
• Spirit AeroSystems Announces Acquisition by Boeing in $8.3 Billion Transaction: The merger is an all-stock transaction at an equity value of approximately $4.7 billion, or $37.25 per share. The total transaction value is approximately $8.3 billion (July 2024)
